Shiraz & Charcuterie - In Review



The annual Shiraz and Charcuterie festival was held on Anthonij Rupert Estate on 28 May 2016.

 

19 winemakers from around the winelands spoiled festival goers with choice, as they presented top Shiraz, Syrah, Shiraz blends and even Shiraz Rose’s for tasting.

 

The Culinary selection included delicious delicate, spicy & savoury salami’s, chorizo & other cured meats from 5 top producers who make their own wonderful cured meats here in the South Africa.

 

The Culinary team from Anthonij Rupert provided some delicious Rhone inspired dishes like Toulouse sausages with lentils & Stuffed Roast peppers & Artisanal Cheese platters.

 

A crisp and sunny day, partnered with vibey tunes from the Newton band made for a very festive atmosphere.
