Shiraz & Charcuterie



Save the date for this year’s Shiraz & Charcuterie Festival, which takes place at the picturesque Anthonij Rupert Wyne on Saturday, 26 May 2018 from 11h00 to 16h00.   The perfect excuse for a day out in the Franschhoek Wine Valley to sample some of SA’s superb Shiraz wines paired to perfection with a selection of delicious charcuterie.

 

Not only will you get to savour some of the finest Syrah wines produced in the country, but you’ll also get the opportunity to taste Anthonij Rupert Wyne’s range of Shiraz wines, which include the Anthonij Rupert Syrah, the Cape of Good Hope Riebeeksrivier Shiraz and Protea Shiraz. The Protea Shiraz adds that extra allure with its eye catching indigenous floral inspired bottle - ready for upcycling!

 

Ideally suited to the colder months, savour your glass of Shiraz with the assortment of appetizing winter inspired dishes on offer. The selection includes a bountiful Harvest Table with a variety of fresh seasonal salads, the estate’s mouthwatering exotic mushroom and Fontina Arancini, as well as the popular artisanal olive, pickle and chili bar. Together with the charcuterie these add that extra touch to create the epitome of a classic food- and wine pairing taste sensations. The Macaroon Bar, which will be offering sweet flavour sensations such as Salted Caramel, Chocolate Cherry and Milk Tart, is guaranteed to fulfil any sweet tooth.
