The second exclusive Wine Club Dinner was held on 2 August 2013. On the rooftop of the Anthonij Rupert Cellar, members had time to cherish the exquisite beauty of the winelands and appreciate the historic and contemporary architecture.
Canapés were perfectly paired with Protea Sauvignon Blanc. The winemakers guided members through the admirable gravity fed cellar. Dinner was served in a private room of the stylishly revamped Terra Del Capo Tasting Room. Beef braised in red wine and artisanal cheeses were paired with Cape of Good Hope and Anthonij Rupert wines. The dessert was the trump card: Caramel Pannacotta accompanied by Bukettraube 1984. The next wine club dinner will be on Fri, 27 September 2013….remember to save the date.
